Author Deanne Stillman, has an amazing piece in this week's Rolling Stone (with the Stones on the cover). (Issue 983, September 22, 2005, p. 89)
The article is called "The Greate Mojave Manhunt", about a murder in the Mojave desert and the monster posse to bring down the murderer. Deanne last wrote in Rolling Stone about the Robert Blake case.

Actress Deborah Theaker will be starring in Christopher Guest's new movie "For Your Consideration". The movie will be in the same vein as Guest's "Waiting for Guffman" and "Best In Show" and "A Might Wind" where Theaker also starred.
The pic revolves around three actors shooting a small indie film whose lives are turned upside down when buzz starts that their performances are awards-worthy.
The filmmaker said he and Levy had great fun writing the script for the movie-within-a-movie, titled Home for Purim, which takes place in the South in the mid-1940s.

I'm truly honored to be featured on www.typepad.com.
I couldn't have done this site and gotten so many viewers without Typepad.
Within in minutes of being featured, my web traffic doubled.
Almost as good as having 3,700 search results on Google and 3,190 on Yahoo.

As you all know, the daughter, Brooke, in "Sperm Donor" is played by the exceptionally talented Lauren Schaffel. Without Brooke, the show wouldn't have an emotional core -- she's exceptionally cool and funny!
Here's her short bio:
Lauren has been acting since she was 5 years old. Her first TV job was on a sitcom called "Fudge" (from the kids books by Judy Blume) where she played the kindergarden girlfriend of the little boy on the show. Her most memorable roles are working on the shows "Just Shoot Me," "Will and Grace" and her current re-curring role on "Still Standing" where she plays Becca, the best friend of one her real best friends, Renee Olstead. Lauren has also done voiceover work and she is most proud of her voice role as Lucy in two "Peanuts" shows and some commercials. Lauren studies opera singing and is currently appearing in Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Gondeliers" in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Lauren has one more year at High School in Los Angeles, and is hoping to go college in New York City where she can pursue a liberal arts education and continue to study dramatic arts and vocal performance. Working on "Sperm Donor" was an amazing experience for her since it was her very first television sitcom pilot. She felt a tremendous rapport with the cast, writers, and producers of the show and was extremely comfortable on the set. She is very proud of how the show turned out and is so honored to be a part of "Situation Comedy."
